Dear Colleagues,

I’m taking steps to form an SMB Mathematical and Computational Ophthalmology (MaCO) Subgroup. Such SMB subgroups already exist for other subfields of mathematical biology and serve as a way to build community and advance the field.

In order to form the subgroup, I need to form a petition. To that end, please might you send me back an email to give answers to the following 3 questions:

• 1.      Would you be happy for me to add your name to the petition to form the SMB MaCO subgroup?
• 2.      Are you an SMB regular member or a student member? (Please specify which.)
• 3.      Would you be more likely to continue SMB membership if a MaCO subgroup existed?

If you are interested, please do respond as this will make a significant difference!
