Dear all, the deadline for abstract submissions to the below conference in Oxford in June has been extended to 31st March (please submit your abstract via shorturl.at/dfo68). Following our successful application for funding, the in-person registration fee is confirmed to be £70.
We are delighted to announce the 2nd BioInference conference (https://bioinference.github.io/2023), taking place at the Doctoral Training Centre at the University of Oxford on the 8th-9th June 2023.
Launched in 2022, BioInference aims to bring together statisticians and mathematical biologists from all career stages, to foster discussions between the two communities and to prompt collaborations. The talks from the 1st BioInference conference are available via our public YouTube channel (shorturl.at/ekmqT).
The conference will combine contributed talks and poster sessions. We invite abstracts for oral / poster presentations on work either relating to statistical methods development (so long as those methods are applicable to biological systems) or on the application of statistical methods to solve biological problems. We are especially interested in presentations on biological problems where an inference solution has yet to be found (i.e. unsolved inference problems).
The conference organising committee is committed to ensuring fair participation of individuals across all career stages, genders, races and ethnicities, ages, geographic locations, and universities.
The BioInference Organisers
Ioana Bouros (Oxford); Fergus Cooper (Oxford); Richard Creswell (Oxford); Aden Forrow (Maine); Ben Lambert (Exeter); Chon Lok Lei (Macau); Massimiliano Tamborrino (Warwick); Tom Thorne (Surrey)
